I was playing Wii boxing with my girlfriend when she noticed that something was happening outside. Turns out, reports of snow were not an exaggeration. Doesn’t look like enough to stick, but it is the first snow we’ve seen this season. I guess the cold weather is really here. It seems a little early for snow, but maybe it’s my imagination. I don’t remember many days of really cold weather or heavy snow last year. We were lucky. This season may hold more.

I had lunch with my friend Sarah on Friday. She’s still in school; interacting with her makes me feel connected. My school experience was very inspiring. It makes my day-to-day work seem so flat and boring. Instead of discussing my work, we talked about my idea for this year’s holiday card. While we were talking I had an idea that I started working on today. I got off to a rough start but the design is really starting to take shape. I should have it done in a few days and then I can make up my mailing list and get things sent off. Hopefully, I won’t have to purchase too much special paper to print them. I have so much paper here. I should make the most of my existing resources.

Found online: Gary West Meats. Monica and I ordered from them and they are very good. We learned about them by watching the Food Network. If you are into this kind of thing, I recommend their jerky.
