Monica and I froze our toes as we watched fireworks over Prospect Park.

The new year arrived with some very cold weather. Monica and I froze our toes as we watched fireworks over Prospect Park. Then it was back to the apartment for some relaxation. And some JavaScript. I’ve made more progress on my custom Google map – although not without an equal or greater amount of frustration.

The new year also arrives with new projects. I have about two weeks to design a poster for the Chinese New Year. There is the continuing work on this blog template and my custom Google Map. Monica also brought up something new today: a website for tracking exercise. She’s not happy with the currently available options online, so she figures we should create our own. It will be a significant undertaking; I don’t know how to do many of the tasks that are required to build the kind of website she’s interested in having. But, it will be a very good opportunity to learn.
