I can't believe that the people forgot who was in charge for the previous 8 years and what we inherit from them and after one year of the new administration they expect all problems corrected, since they voted the same people back in office, appears that they want the economy to go backwards.

Despite the fact that this would provide even more incentive to ride the lobbyist gravy train after serving in office, I'm all for it.

I also support those politicians who take the food stamps challenge for a week.

One additional thing, which I should have mentioned in the instructions: add the arugula last. When you top your pizza, add the sauce, the cheese, and the prosciutto (or other toppings). When the pizza is done baking, remove it from the oven, place it somewhere safe to cool (I use the stovetop) and put the fresh arugula on top of the hot pizza. The arugula will wilt over top of the pizza as it cools. If you bake the pizza with the arugula on top, you may wind up with burnt arugula. Nobody want's that :)

Excellent points on a complex issue. When having this conversation it is important to separate the platform (iPhone app, Android app, web, desktop application) from the technology (Flash, HTML5, Objective C, etc). Saying Flash is bad is like saying velcro is bad. Each technology has its own advantages for each platform where available.

The most applicable advantage here may be whether or not the technology/platform is open and standards based or proprietary. The web is an open platform and it follows that the technologies on which it is built should also be open. The iPhone is ultimately proprietary, so it follows to me that to maintain that experience Apple needs to control its technology for apps.

Flash is still very useful for many other platforms, not just the web. Flash may still be the best choice for animated presentations, casual games (which to me are a separate platform even if they are on the web), and multimedia installations. Even rapid development and prototype desktop applications. TweetDeck is a great Flash application on the desktop, though they do have an HTML5 and native desktop app in development...

We have used the microwave to cook rice since we discovered it cooks perfectly every... single... time. For such a simplistic part of the meal, you are right, it is easy to mess up. Microwave dish. 1-2 cups of white rice. Double the water. Cover -- we use the sticky Glad wrap. Nuke on high for 5 minutes. Then nuke for 15 minutes at 50%. Done. It lacks your style, but it is definitely perfect every single time.

I like this, is specially true of our spiritual journey, the sad thing is some of us do not realize that there is a plan to be followed, and adherence to the plan makes a difference to where we end up.
